Overview
The selector matches a bar envelope and operation set against the published capability of every machine in the range. Width, thickness and length are checked against the maximum workpiece each machine accepts; punched hole diameter against its maximum punch size; and the operation set against what the machine performs. Machines that fall short are listed with the reason rather than hidden. These are envelope limits: running continuously at the top of the envelope shortens tool life and lengthens cycle time, and material temper shifts what a given machine will clear. Where nothing in the standard range covers the envelope, larger capacity is available to order.
