Overview
IMAC-CENTER 60 is a fully automatic processing centre for copper and aluminium busbar. The punching and shearing units each develop 800 kN, and the machine accepts bar from 15 to 300 mm wide and 3 to 20 mm thick in lengths to 6000 mm. Positioning runs at 80 m/min with an axis acceleration of 8 m/s², holding ±0.05 mm, and the punching unit reaches 200 hits per minute. The tool magazine carries 24 stations, extendable to 36, in a mother-and-daughter arrangement that holds several punch sizes per station. Control is Siemens across PLC, servo drives and motion. Multi-bar loading, nesting and production monitoring run from the same software, so the machine works from a project file rather than a part list.

Frequently asked questions
- How many tool stations does the IMAC centre carry?
- Twenty-four as standard, with thirty-six available as an option. The German mother-and-daughter die library architecture means a single station can carry several punch sizes, so the usable tool count is higher than the station count suggests.
- Does the machine need on-site commissioning?
- No. The machine ships fully assembled and commissioned. Site requirements are a level floor, power and compressed air. Remote diagnosis is included and operator training is delivered online.
