- Grinding width
- 100–800mm
- Feeding speed
- 5–30m/min
Overview
BND800-2 is a two-stage grinding machine for busbar deburring and surface preparation. It accepts bar from 0.5 to 50 mm thick and 100 to 800 mm wide, with a minimum workpiece length of 350 mm, at a feed rate of 5 to 30 m/min. The first stage removes the burr left by punching or shearing; the second removes the oxide layer ahead of plating, since plating adhesion is determined by the surface beneath it. Two 11 kW main motors drive the grinding heads, and an integrated 1.5 kW dust collector handles extraction. Working air pressure is 0.4 to 0.6 MPa.

Frequently asked questions
- Why does deburring matter before plating?
- Two separate jobs happen on this machine. Deburring removes the burr the punch or shear left, which otherwise becomes a stress and field concentration. Surface grinding removes the oxide layer, and plating adhesion is only as good as the surface underneath it. A joint plated over oxide will show rising contact resistance long before anyone expects it to.
